On 18-20 April 2014, Pudak Scientific participated in the Solo Education Festival 2014 in the Broadway Atrium, Ground Floor, The Park Solo, Solo Baru. In this exhibition, we exhibited various educational teaching aids, for the elementary school level up to university level, which include:

• Van de Graaff generator
• Wimshurst machine
• Simple distillation/refining tools
• Standing waves on a string
• Lens focus tools
• Observation of various microslides on multimedia microscope and student microscope
• Observation of moon phases simulation
• Cepat-tepat Arithmetic
• Solar system model
• Planetarium model
• Landscape models (land/sea) and natural phenomena (volcanoes) model
• Demonstration and simulation equipment of belt conveyor
• CCTV Trainer

Our exhibited products were specially prepared for direct test/use by the visitors.

"It’s cool that in this booth we can directly try those showcased products" one of our visitors said.

Another visitor said that our booth was very satisfying, where visitor had the chance to directly try the products exhibited and received explanation from the booth attendants.

In addition, we also held workshop of "Asyiknya Meneliti Sains" (Science Research Fun) during  this festival. We demonstrated various science experiments that can be performed with simple tools. This demonstration was intended to show teachers, in particular, and visitors, in general, that science phenomenon are common in our everyday life. The enthusiasm of the visitors was remarkable, which showed by the numbers of visitors who were asking questions and wished to performed the science experiments with us.

Moreover, on this occasion we gave away the “Pudak Cinta Guru” movement pins and plastic calipers to the visitors who attended the workshop. The "Asyiknya Meneliti Sains" books were also awarded to the workshop participants as the door prize for the ones that can answer questions given.

On third day of the festival, the workshop had the most enthusiasts, who were not only teachers of Solo and the surrounding area but also The Park Solo mall visitors. A lot of kids wanted to directly try our science games demonstration.

Hopefully this kind of workshop will increase students and educators’ motivation in conducting their teaching and learning process in schools.
